A month in my mind... Well two actually! July and August 2022
With out any planning I naturally took a break from Social Media once the Summer holidays kicked in. I decided to concentrate on current client work and my days off with Isla and family time.
Things I have been up to through July and August… Thinking a list maybe easier.
1. We had a family trip to London to kick off the School holidays - Hamilys followed by afternoon tea at Chesterfield Mayfair hotel, to celebrate Isla completing Reception.
2. A weekend away with friends in South Cerney, fab fun watching the husbands water sports one better than the other!
3. We now have 2 fur babies called Nala and Elsa :) both as mad as a box of frogs.
4. We celebrated Isla turning 5 which was a joy. Kids parties are so exhausting but so worth it.
5. A day out at Compton Verney where we got to experience their fab Summer exhibition ‘Colourscape’ it featured giant, walk-in structures filled with colour and light., VERY HOT! (see pics below)
6. More work on the house… We have now turned out stupidly large en-suite into two rooms so we now have a fair size en-suite and we now have a lovely dressing area.
7. And to end the Summer holidays a holiday to France with 3 other families which was ace and so relaxing.
8. Ate out a lot, moaned a lot about being too HOT but what a Summer we have had.
I hope you enjoy seeing what I got up to in July and August 2022, with client work, my own personal work and things that have inspired me.

What makes me tick
I love keeping notes of things that excite, inspire and set my world on fire, whether thats a magazine designed beautifully, podcasts, beautiful packaging, or a colour that catches my eye.
Below are things that inspired me over the last couple of months.
Left top image: A fully immersive experience, Colourscape featured giant, walk-in structures filled with colour and light. Brought to Compton Verney by Eye Music Trust.
Middle top image: An Extremely fab and fun structure by Morag Myerscough at Compton Verney where kids can play on it.
Right top image: A very large ampersand made out of metal, I loved how it sat with the old building and the modern buildings.
Left bottom image: Gorgeous colour quote from Wassily Kandinsky.
Right image: Where we stayed in France… Take me back.
