A month in my mind... June 2022
June was a busy month work wise and weekends were filled with time spent with friends and family. There have to be two highlights. Firstly, walking up Snowdon at 2am in the morning in the hope of a sunrise and getting nothing but extreme fog and winds up to 25 miles per hour! A huge thank you to all those who sponsored me, I am so grateful for all the money I managed to raise for The Lily Mae Foundation. The second highlight has to be going to see Ed Sheeran at Wembley with friends.

Client Work
June was a busy month with regular client work a few reports, brochure designs and lots of social media tile, story and reel creations. The two projects below were worked on earlier this year, one is an update to a brand that I previously worked on and the other is a gorgeous pattern design, a project I thoroughly enjoyed working on.

Treehouse Social
Project: Logo update
Working on this logo again to give it a little update was pure joy, I loved this project the first time round and I enjoyed updating the fonts and colours to give it a new feel the second time round.
Out of the Box Gifts
Project: Illustration Pattern
What a gorgeous project to work on. I got to draw all the elements that formed part of the beautiful pattern for the tissue paper that wraps round all the gifts in the boxes.

What makes me tick
I love keeping notes of things that excite, inspire and set my world on fire, whether thats a magazine designed beautifully, podcasts, beautiful packaging, or a colour that catches my eye.
Below are things that inspired me last month.
Left image: Beautiful illustration in the current Bloom magazine. Team work makes the dream work is a firm favourite phrase in our home.
Middle image: If you have not listened to Hollow Coves then what are you waiting for, perfect music for the Summer.
Right image: A view as I walked up the first hill on my way to the top of Snowdon at 2am in the morning. I have wanted to do something like this for ages and despite not getting the dreamy sunrise at the top it was still such an incredible experience which I absolutely loved. I also thoroughly enjoyed my yummy breakfast at the bottom with my 2 favourites Si and Isla who came to support me for the weekend. I obviously needed someone to drive me to and from Wales!
